Alternative to Suspension Instructor

Covered Bridge Special Education District is accepting applications for licensed teachers (6-12) working with the Alternative to Suspension Programs. The Alternative to Suspension Programs provide academic and social/emotional learning opportunities to middle and high school students who are removed for a short period of time from their home schools. Educational Assistants For Preschool


Assistants would work with student in the preschool setting. Responsibilities would be monitoring students for safety, assisting students with projects and work jobs, preparing materials, some diapering and toilet training assistance and following the teacher's instructions throughout the classroom.

Educational Interpreter

This assignment would be with an elementary age student providing sign language support within the school environment. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

Part-time Preschool Speech Language Pathologist

Covered Bridge Special Education District is accepting applications for position(s) that require a Certificate of Clinical Competence.. Position includes screening, evaluating, developing the individualized education program (IEP) for each child, while working with preschool students in inclusive settings. Speech Language Pathologist

Covered Bridge Special Education District is accepting applications for a licensed speech language pathologist. Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence. Covered Bridge District follow a 3:1 service model which allows students to have uninterrupted services for three weeks and the SLP will complete conferences, observations, testing , report writing and Medicaid entry, etc. on the fourth week. A Speech Language Pathologist Assistant may also be considered for a position requiring a bachelor's in Speech Language Pathology.

 

Special Education Teachers

Covered Bridge Special Education District is currently accepting applications for a special education teachers with a current license for various positions throughout Vigo County School Corporation.
